Our Story

From humble and modest beginnings, the RDP Valves and Instrumentation Group was formed and established by DeenanPadiachy in 2004. With an engineering and instrumentation supply background, the newly formed company focused on the supply of industrial steam valves within the Gauteng region. Through dedicated focus and a services oriented culture, the company was able to import and introduce a range of Industrial Valves from India. The company continues to service the local market.

The company further expanded into Boiler and Steam Maintenance projects completing both private and public sector work. Some of the noticeable projects included Boiler supply, maintenance and installation work at Natalspruit(Voslorus-Gauteng) , Elim(Makhado –Limpopo), Chris Hani Baragwanath (Soweto –Gauteng), Charlotte Maxeke(Parktown –Gauteng) and SisweTropical Diseases Hospital (Edenvale–Gauteng).

15 years later, P & S Projects and Trading was formed with the goal of creating dedicated focus to solely pursue Steam, Boiler and Maintenance projects. The Team is equipped with energy, in depth industry knowledge, skills and experience. Backed by a firm commitment to service delivery and local empowerment.

In line with the founders’ vision, we strive to be your trusted partner with a mission to become SA’s leading Boiler Maintenance Service provider.

Meet the team

Deenan Padiachy – Founder

With over 35 Years experience within the steam engineering and Valve supply industry. In addition, his acquired experience in handling complex projects with specific references projects with specific reference to the supply, delivery and installation of coal fire boilers. We rely on his firm leadership qualities and experience.

Padataychie - Head Artison

Having started his career at Scaw Metals as a qualified fitter and turner. Mr Padataychie has over 20 years hands on experience in fabrication, machining, welding and rigging. He is also well versed in health, safety and statutory compliance environments with extensive knowledge of Boilers, Steam Valves, Reticulation lines and mechanical building services. His ability to read and interpret technical drawings in order to carry out fabrications is impressive. He also holds a N2, N3, N4, N5 Certificates.

M Sibiya - Head Welder

Mr. Sibiya has got over 8 years of industry experience. He has a steady hand and exhibits great attention to detail and carry’s vast knowledge of different metal properties, welding equipment and procedures. He hold various welding qualification and obtainedhis experience through Avenge Welding.

P Doki - Head Engineer

We are fortunate to utilise the services of Mr Doki on a consultancy basis. He is a qualified engineer with his career beginning as a process and production Engineer at Lonmin PLC. He has extensive knowledge in process engineering, project management and value chain optimization. He holds a BSC (Eng) Hons, MBA and is enrolled as a Doctorate Candidate (DBA)

N Padiachy - Financial Manager

Having grown up in the business, Mr Padiachys skills are best utilised behind the desk and he currently overseas the project budgeting, costing and business development function. He holds a Bcom(Hons) and his currently enrolled for his Masters in Management.
